During the recovery period, the child may still appear weak, lazy to eat, and not yet cheerful. Because his body condition is still not fit, your little one will feel uncomfortable and sometimes become fussy. However, with good assistance and care from parents, children can go through this phase more comfortably, and their recovery will be faster.

1. Make the child feel comfortable
When sick, children often feel afraid and anxious, especially if they have fever, nausea, and vomiting. So, as much as possible always accompany your little one and don't leave him alone. Create a quiet and clean home atmosphere so your little one feels comfortable.

5. Give milk
Milk is a drink that is rich in nutrients and favored by children. A good supplementary dairy product is one that contains quality protein, for example with essential amino acids obtained from sources of cow's milk protein, whey protein, and soy protein (soy). This content is an important nutrient to support growth and development, and strengthen the immunity of the Little One.

6. Let the child rest
Basically, children need more sleep than adults, which is 9 to 11 hours. When you are sick or just recovering from illness, the sleep time your child needs becomes even longer. Therefore, make sure your little one sleeps longer and more often during the recovery period.
Let your little one sleep when he feels weak or sleepy. Tidy and clean his bed so he can sleep comfortably and soundly. If necessary, read a story or play soothing music as a lullaby.
7. Keep the room temperature
The hot room temperature makes the child less comfortable resting. The right room temperature for children who are sick or just recovering from illness is between 18-22 degrees Celsius. Make sure the air in your little one's bedroom is free of dust and cigarette smoke, so he doesn't get sick again.
